Call for papers

The China RRAM International Workshop launches its first edition with the objective of becoming the major forum in China for discussion on resistive random access memories and related applications. The workshop will be held on June 12th-14th at the Institute of Functional Nano & Soft Materials (FUNSOM) of Soochow University. The conference will include several invited talks (30 minutes) given by world top scientists in the field of RRAM, which will be accompanied by regular talks (15 minutes), a poster session, and a students forum. Coffee/tea breaks, gala dinner and social excursion will be also served/organized to promote ideas exchange. The topics of interest include:

Emerging resistive switching based memories, including ReRAM and CBRAM (among others).
RRAM complex structures, including 3D integration, crossbar arrays and selector elements.
RRAM modeling, including first principles methods, quantum point contact theory, and physical modelling.
In-situ characterization methods, including STM, CAFM, and TEM/EDS, among others.
Use of two dimensional (2D) materials in RRAM, with special emphasis on layered dielectrics.
RRAM based neuromorphic computing, electronic synapses, short and long term plasticity.
Other additional topics related to RRAM science are welcome.

Selected contributions will be published as special issue in Crystal Research & Technology, a 50 years old journal from Wiley-VCH. Dr. Hakim Meskine, editor for Advanced Materials family, will give a talk highlighting different publishing opportunities for the RRAM community in Wiley-VCH journals.

Abstract Submission

Scientists interested in presenting their recent progress may submit their work for oral or poster presentation. Please prepare a one-page abstract including around 500 words text and one figure (see model here). The abstract should state clearly and concisely the results of your work and why they are significant.

– Deadline for Abstract submission: April 15th
– Acceptance / rejection notification: April 30th
– Deadline for Full paper submission: June 12th

Please submit your abstract via Email to the address marco@suda.edu.cn. We would highly appreciate if you could write “ABSTRACT SUBMISSION” in the subject of your Email. Please also indicate your preference for oral or poster contribution. The acceptance of abstracts will be decided by the technical committee. If your abstract is accepted, you will receive detailed instructions for submitting an extended manuscript for publication in Crystal Research & Technology. The acceptance of papers in this journal will follow an external double peer review process. The authors presenting a poster should bring it printed in DIN-A0 size (vertical orientation). The poster format is free, and we will provide boards and pushpins to hang them.
